Joe Epting the managing partner of the firm�s Litigation practice group and is a founding partner
in the law firm of Epting & Gillis, LLC. Mr. Epting focuses his practice on complex litigation
which includes catastrophic personal injury claims, employment and workplace injury claims, and
complex divorces. At the age of 30, he was elected to the Board of Governors for the
South Carolina Trial Lawyers. He is a frequent speaker on litigation topics including class
action litigation regarding failure to pay wages or overtime.
Mr. Epting is licensed in South Carolina and is admitted to practice in the United State District
court for the District of South Carolina, the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals,
and the state courts in the State of South Carolina.
He is married to the former Kelly Morgan of Charleston, South Carolina. They have a daughter, Katherine
and two sons, John and Benjamin. He is a member of Washington Street United Methodist Church.
